The popularity of cigar smoking has never been greater and is gaining momentum with a strong following of cigar aficionados searching for the ultimate smoking venue. Whilst Luxury hotels search for new unique selling points to enhance their brands, it appears that humidors and smoking terraces may well become essential additions for luxury hotel brands.
The
requirement of exacting environmental conditions to preserve the cigars is as
important as the actual collection. With cigars such as limited edition Behikes to
vintage Havana's being highly sought after by collectors, the return on
investment is substantial and provide real added value if designed with the correct
knowledge and implementation.
Following
on from Fox Linton Associates’ recent involvement and design of the largest
hotel humidor, located within The Wellesley, London. We have put
together a collection of images that inspired our design narrative and to
celebrate the new dawn of the humidor.
